Equipping and Encouraging
Monthly prayer gatherings are held for the purpose of equipping and encouraging pastors, prayer leaders, intercessors and anyone interested in learning more about prayer. Sometimes the focus is on teaching about prayer and seeking to build God’s kingdom here on earth, sometimes the focus is on praying for each other and our churches.
As relationships are being built and connections are made with each other, persons are encouraged to take steps to build the prayer ministry in their local congregations, to reach out in their community with prayer and in their own personal walk with God.
As connections with each other are made and hopes, dreams and struggles are shared, prayer ministries of local congregations will be strengthened.
IntercessoryWe often find ourselves as congregations going through transitions and difficulties unforeseen. How do we draw strength from each other? Praying for congregations and ministries throughout the conference has been a benefit of this ministry as intercessors pray for the needs.
Unifying
What happens when we meet together as brothers and sisters and learn to pray, worship and focus on God together? UNITY! We begin to no longer see another congregation as “out there” but part of us and we are a part of them. This is a natural outgrowth of the monthly prayer gatherings.
